What Clients Say
Client Perspectives
Margaret V.
British expat, Bangkok (Sukhumvit)
I had been putting this off for three years. After my mother passed, I realised I had no idea where anything was — and I did not want my own children in the same situation. Siriporn was incredibly calm and patient throughout. She helped me sort through everything without any sense of rush. The folder system we set up is still how I manage things now, about eight months on.

Kriangkrai S.
Bangkok, Pathum Wan
I attended the Legacy Letter workshop after hearing about it from a colleague. I was not sure what to expect — I am not someone who writes easily. But the way James led the session made it manageable. I did not finish my letter in the workshop itself, but I had enough to continue at home. Worth attending if you have been thinking about it for a while.
June 2025 · Legacy Letter & Memory Workshop
David H.
Australian, Bangkok (Sathorn)
We have been in Thailand for twelve years and have documents in English, Thai, and even some in German from my wife's background. I had expected the session to be overwhelming, but Nattida helped us work through it in a way that felt very manageable. The written summary they sent afterwards was particularly helpful — I keep it alongside the folders.

Pimchanok R.
Bangkok, Thong Lo
I attended the Legacy Workshop with my mother, which made it a shared experience neither of us expected to find so moving. James created a space where she felt comfortable talking about things she had not said aloud before. The writing prompts were thoughtful. We both came away with something we value.

Swiss, Bangkok (Silom)
What I appreciated most was that Bequesta was clear from the very beginning about what they do and what they do not. I had concerns about whether a service like this might cross into territory I was not comfortable with — but the scope was stated plainly and consistently respected. The session itself was practical and I left with clarity I had not had before.

Bangkok, Ladprao
I brought my father along to the Organisation Session, which he had been very reluctant about. By the end of it, he was the one suggesting we do a follow-up. The team handled his hesitance with such care — they did not push, they just worked alongside him. We left feeling like something had genuinely shifted.

Case Studies
Three situations where clients found working with Bequesta particularly helpful.
A Family With Documents Across Three Countries
Organisation Session · May 2025
SITUATION
A mixed-nationality couple — Thai and German — had household documents distributed across Bangkok, Munich, and Sydney, in three languages. They could not easily locate key records and had no consistent system.
APPROACH
A two-session organisation process, beginning with an inventory of what existed across all locations and working towards a single reference system with a clear index and physical folder structure at the Bangkok base.
OUTCOME
A unified document reference system, a physical organised folder set for Bangkok documents, and a checklist for managing the remote records in other cities. The couple reported feeling significantly more settled about their situation.
A Community Association Needing Clearer Internal Records
B2B Advisory · April–May 2025
SITUATION
A long-standing expat community association in Bangkok had accumulated member records over fifteen years with no consistent format. New committee members struggled to locate historical records and understand what the organisation held.
APPROACH
A workflow review session with the committee secretary and treasurer, followed by a written recommendations report covering record categorisation, storage format, and handover procedures for future committee transitions.
OUTCOME
A written process guide adopted by the organisation, reducing the time taken to locate member records from hours to minutes. The committee also implemented a handover checklist for future transitions.
Two Sisters Preserving Their Father's Stories
Legacy Workshop · June 2025
SITUATION
Two adult daughters were concerned that their elderly father — a retired engineer who had lived through significant historical events in Thailand — had never recorded any of his experiences or personal history. They wanted to help him do so before it became too difficult.
APPROACH
A private individual Legacy Workshop facilitated by James, working with all three family members together. The session used a combination of memory prompts and structured writing exercises, adapted to suit the father's pace and comfort.
OUTCOME
A partially completed legacy letter, two memory records covering his childhood and career, and a keepsake binder the family could continue adding to. The daughters described the experience as one of the most meaningful afternoons they had spent together in years.
